Got an idea for the Makerspace?

Attention BlakerMakers,

More and more Blakers are experiencing all of the innovative and fun things we have to offer in the BlakerMakerspace. It's becoming a place that 6th graders can choose as an option for recess, advisories come down for projects like community crocheting and 3D printing, and teachers bring their classes to integrate design thinking and making into their students' learning. But, WE WANT TO DO MORE!

Recently, I found this pretty cool edtech tool called Flipgrid. It offers a way to use video as a social learning tool to engage students in participating, reflecting, giving feedback and blah blah blah.. you get the idea.

So, I'm thinking... Flipgrid might be a nice addition to the Makerspace by building a community where we can give feedback, share topics of interests, and ask questions. If you'd like to give it a try, click on the link above (flip grid.com/ld4lykl). Choose a topic and post a short video (must be less than 1 1/2 minute). All videos are moderated by me before they are actually posted. Teachers and students are welcome to post! Watch the space above to see the responses!
